Last minute shopping for both of us. I seem to be catching a cold so I need something that will KILL it before it grabs hold. Anita wants a last manicure. We will redistribute some stuff in our bags and take them to be weighed at Staples. Hopefully all bags will be under the limits, especially the extremely low limit of 15 pounds for the single personal carry on allowed. My checked bag was really low last evening so I can look for some space in it for the extra weight that may be in the personal bag. That bag plus my camera bag and my 'purse' (a small backpack) are all that is allowed when you leave the US baggage regulations. Anita and I become 'international' travelers since our first stop is Doha, Qatar. One of the many surprises we found as we prepared for the trip.
According to weather.com, it's 66 in Gaborone, Botswana and 90 in Nicosia, Cyprus. Guess we will be heading in to good weather.
I don't suspect there will be time for any posting until we reach Njale's home in Moshupa, sometime late on Wednesday. So, until then, thanks for reading and commenting.

In looking at the photo of your "stuff" pre-packing, I noticed that great hat that you are wearing in the photo you posted. I want one! I always forget a hat and when I do remember to pack one, it's a baseball cap because I forgot to go out and buy a hat that shades both my face and the back of my neck.
Have a WONDERFUL time! Safe flight! How long is the flight? Did you bring a book to amuse yourself or do you and Anita have card games or the like planned for the flight?
Looking forward to your posts,
Arleen
I'd put my money on a paperback book or some last minute needlework for someone Karen's planning to visit.
Safe travels, Karen and Anita! Looking forward to "travelling" with you via your blog.
Hugs,
Sandy B.
